The Garmin nuvi 1260T consists of a 3.5″ screen and contains maps of North America, has free traffic alerts, bluetooth hands-free calling and ecoRoute, a feature that calculates the most fuel-efficient route. The Garmin 1260T is user friendly, has a public transport mode and text-to-speech features. This device has menu options with a new slide control feature. The nuvi 1260T is equipped with Bluetooth wireless technology for hands-free calling. With the NAVTEQ Traffic receiver, you will be familiar with the local traffic status before embarking on your journey. You will receive information like traffic flow speeds, nationwide coverage for mishaps and other unexpected trouble on your route.
The Garmin nuvi 1300 has a 4.3 inch widescreen and has features like lane assist and free lifetime traffic alerts. The device says out road names and the turns while you drive so you can concentrate on your driving while hearing the GPS directions. You can also use the car GPS to know about the public transport services available in your country. The GPS is compact enough for you to carry it in your purse. With the ecoRoute system, the Garmin nuvi 1300 can help choose the route that is quick and spends minimum fuel with the help of ecoRoute Fuel Report and Mileage Report. The nuvi 1300 has a touch screen display and text to which it reads out the name of upcoming streets.
